These restorations turn salty, barren landscapes into dynamic ecosystems alive with water, vegetation, and the calls of nesting shorebirds.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n<!--more-->\n\n  <div class=\"paragraph\"><span>Through this ongoing effort \u2014 the largest wetland restoration project on the West Coast \u2014 scientists, land managers, and volunteers are helping nature reclaim its rhythm.
