Notes: This thrush has been caught at CCFS 14 times. At the most recent capture, the back of their head was covered in large scab, healing. The bird seemed neurologically normal: no brain damage. It’s interesting to see the injuries wild birds can survive.

Notes: Her face is dark because she has been messily eating dark sticky plant sap.

Notes: This individual has been captured at CCFS 29 times, and 22 of those times was captured in nets TRAN L or TRAN M. He is a very consistent sparrow!

Notes: Very fat, as migrating birds often are. In CCFS’ >30 years of banding, we have banded only 49 individuals of this species!
